Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel and cement vats for 4 weeks.

Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel and cement vats.

Aged in French oak barrels of 15 HL and 12 HL for 24 months.

Crafted from meticulously selected, hand-harvested Sangiovese and Canaiolo grapes from the La Sorgente vineyard, planted in 1970, and the newly established Altar Maggiore vineyard.

 

Aged in French Allier oak barrels.

And approximately three months in the bottle.

 

Pairs exquisitely with classic Tuscan fare such as cured meats, roasts, grilled meats, braised dishes, and mature cheeses.
