CARMA emerges from the marriage of two arts: the intricate realm of wine and the restoration of ancient buildings, a blend that has long enriched our land.

The project is a fusion of Caterina's passion for wine as an aspiring oenologist and Massimiliano's expertise in building restoration. Together, they channel their shared dedication into preserving historic architecture.

 

For four decades, Massimiliano has dedicated himself to the restoration and construction of Tuscan farmhouses, applying his expertise and attention to detail to the land as well. The idea of replanting vineyards on ancient Etruscan terraces originated from him. Approximately ten years ago, he began the painstaking task of reviving ancient dry stone walls, creating a genuine vineyard amidst the rock that is our heritage.

 

In this project, Caterina merges her love for wine with her strong connection to nature and the surrounding countryside. She represents a youthful and dynamic viewpoint within the company, aiming to collect and safeguard the wisdom of her land.
